An Oil Painting of Bachelor Buttons

I remember tending to Bachelor Buttons when I was a kid. Our front walk way was bordered on both sides with them. It is one of my favorite flowers because purple is my favorite color. I kept this painting for myself as it was one of my first paintings.

I keep it hanging above my bed as it goes well with my velvet purple bedspread, the purple colors in my closet, the purple flowers on my dresser, my purple shoes, purple socks, etc. My poetry page would be purple also except it conflicts with the other colors on my page. Heavy sigh!
