Sounds of the Morning

ticking clock

Sounds of the morning wake me up
Cuckoo Cuckoo the alarm goes off
The birds begin to sing
The phones start to ring
flying blue bird

The eggs are frying
The baby is crying
The water runs and makes a splash
ringing phone

Everyone is late and makes a dash
The BBC comes on and the news it makes
The traffic halts with a squeal of brakes
These sounds of the morning wake me up.
