Grandpa We used to fall together, and fly together We would laugh together, and cry together And what we talked about, we never cared I stop and think of the stories that we shared We would play cards, and you would always let me win Remember at Thanksgiving, when I would always have food on my chin But then I cried when your time came And I know those memories will always stay the same I remember how I went from dumb to smart But Grandpa, there is always a place for you, and that's in my heart © By Katie Age 11 |
