About Young Poets

Young Poets (YP) was designed to provide a place for kids to be able to post their poetry online. The owner of Young Poets, Lori Eldridge, enjoys writing poetry, and wants to encourage kids in the writing of their poems. Her plan it to provide graphical poetry presentations or original artwork by the poets themselves. Young Poets is not affiliated with any organization or church.

Lori's qualifications to be the editor and owner of a poetry web site:

BA in English/Creative Writing with a focus in poetry (EWU 1996)
Poetry collection on Lori's Poetry
Assistant editor and Research Assistant for Willow Springs Literary Journal. (EWU 1994-1995)
Editor and owner of Endtime Poetry a collection of original Christian poets.
Past Part-time proofreader of literary works: Terry Trueman and other author's works in progress.
