The original site was very disorganized as to the layout dut to owner using ineffective methods to try and prevent people stealing images and text (every page was set up as an image with the text in an image map which search engines can't read). This was ineffective because it won't prevent theft of images and search engines couldn't follow the links. All page files were labeled "page2" etc. which wasn't utilitizing the main keywords. We changed the file names to contain major keywords. This resulted in a loss of traffic, temporarily, but minimal effect due to very little traffic on inside pages due to problems mentioned above. The images of products were then organized into a gallery and link pages were organized into categories and an organized list instead of scattered around the pages. Advice was given on what kind of links to seek to gain more PR for Google rank and advice was also given on how to contact owners and hosting companies of those stealing copyrighted content.

The site steadily increased in traffic once the site was redesigned, from 200 visitors per month to over 3000 per Month in only 11 weeks, and keyword rank grew steadily from non-existent to page 1 all major keywords in the 3 major engines within 6 months.

This success was partly the result of the owner of this site seeking quality links beyond what LWD found and placing ads and notices around the internet and also advertising his business in hardcopy magazines. Also see the owner's Testimony
