The original site only had 4 pages (small sites are often ignored by search engines) so 4 more were added.
It also had no PR due to a split domain and no index page. Keyword ranking was low due to not incorporating headers with keywords, titles being too short and keyword density being too high.
After redesign this website had top 10 rank in Google for 3/4th of all targeted keywords within 3 months of redesign and remains there today. Site has risen to PR 5.
