This custom designed logo and logo banner portfolio contains a wide selection of different logo styles created in Photoshop and/or Fireworks with a brief description of how each logo was designed. Some of the logos were produced from landscapes and some are mainly text logos (This page may take a while to load because of several graphics.) (click on the images to go to the websites) |
Logo Banner for horizontal drop-down menu The image for this logo banner was chosen, besides the lightning strike, because of the dark area on the bottom which would serve well for a drop down menu (also see the top and bottom of this page for other logos designed for drop down menus). Applying Text to a Curved Path Logo Handcrafted Garden Bridges This logo banner was designed in Fireworks by applying a drop shadow behind the text in a light color so it will show up over the rails of the bridge and then applying text to a curved path. | |
Drop Shadow Logos: NTD Equine Braces This logo was designed in Fireworks by placing a small image of a horse with faded edges on a white banner with a drop shadow under the letters.  I used the original globe for Global Education Services, Inc. enlarged it and added simple letters on a colored background with a drop shadow under the letters. There is an animation for the same site on the animations page. | |
Animated Logo: This animated logo banner showing the different stages of a horse's life was designed by including a different horse picture in each animation frame with the last frame delayed longer than the others. Animated Banner: This is an animated logo banner designed in Fireworks for the grand opening of Thoroughbreds Only Classifieds (no longer online). This banner has about 5 frames with the words "grand opening" in each frame enlarged to give the impression of the letters increasing in size (the banner is designed to flash 5 times and then quit. Hit the refresh button in your browser to see it repeat). | |
Embossed Logo: This logo banner was produced in Fireworks by taking a photo of a motorcycle, making it all one color, removing non-essential details, embossing it and placing the name on top in an arc drawn as a path and attaching the letters to the path. | |
Landscape Logos: Gene Amondson is an Alaskan artist in oils. We used part of his painting of Mt. Rainier and applied simple beveled letters over the top. | |
